Farewell Summer

It is surreal that in a matter of 8 days I will embark on the big UBC boat. This is the much awaited trip to independence. Little by little I am getting a taste of the adult life. I just got back from driving around with sun-dried eyes and a side serving of soupy forehead (it is piping hot out) to get paperwork signed. I've also purchased my first set of household appliances that include a coffee maker, a minigrill, and a minifridge. I cannot wait to fill my dorm with unecessary junk!

And because the University stress bar is gradually sprouting, I am already becoming nostalgic of this summer's most relaxing moments, which I have gleefully captured with my camera.

My sister Lea at a Greek restaurant. She's quite cool. Check out her blog.

"I am a part of all that I have met;

Yet all experience is an arch wherethrough
Gleams that untravelled world, whose margin fades
For ever and for ever when I move."

"Ulysses" by Lord Alfred Tennyson

Here I come UBC!
